Shiva is holding the dead body of Sati his wife.

Dakshayani Sati daughter of Prajapathi Daksha didn't listen to the words of her husband Mahadeva.

She went to her home where Daksha her father was preparing for homa yagnya where Daksha several times offended Shiva.

Sati decided to leave her body and burn in the fire of yoga.
